چکیده

The mean field Green function solution of the two-band singlet-hole Hubbard model for high-Tc superconductivity in cuprates (Plakida, N.M. et al., Phys. Rev. B51, 16599 (1995), JETP 97, 331 (2003)) involves expressions of higher order correlation functions describing respectively the singlet hopping and the superconducting pairing. Rigorous derivation of their values is reported based on the finding that specific invariant classes of polynomial Green functions in terms of the Wannier overlap coefficients νij exist.

Antiferromagnetism and Superconductivity in a Model with Extended Pairing Interactions

The competition between antiferromagnetism and the d+ id superconducting state is studied in a model with near and next near neighbour interactions in the absence of any on-site repulsion. A mean field study shows that it is possible to have simultaneous occurrence of an antiferromagnetic and a singlet d + id superconducting state in this model. In addition, such a coexistence generates a tripl...

Possible Pairing Symmetry of Superconductor Na X Coo 2 ·yh 2 O

To discuss a possibility that the superconductivities in NaxCoO2·yH2O are induced by the electron correlation, we investigate the possible pairing symmetry based on the single-band Hubbard model whose dispersion of the bare energy band is obtained by using FLAPW-LDA band structure calculation of NaxCoO2·yH2O. The superconducting transition temperature is estimated by solving the Éliashberg equa...

Superconducting phase and pairing fluctuations in the half-filled two-dimensional Hubbard model.

The two-dimensional Hubbard model exhibits superconductivity with d-wave symmetry even at half-filling in the presence of a next-nearest neighbor hopping. Using plaquette cluster dynamical mean-field theory with a continuous-time quantum Monte Carlo impurity solver, we reveal the non-Fermi liquid character of the metallic phase in proximity to the superconducting state. Specifically, the low-fr...

Electronic properties of the three - band Hubbard model

We study the electronic band-structure and transport properties of a CuO2-plane within the three-band Hubbard model. The Dynamical Mean-Field Theory (DMFT) is used to solve the many particle problem. The calculations show that the optical gap ∆opt is given by excitations from the lower Hubbard band into the so called Zhang-Rice singlet band. The optical gap ∆opt turns out to be considerably sma...

Superconductivity in Strongly Correlated Electronic Systems

A microscopic theory of superconducting pairing within the Hubbard model is discussed. A Dyson equation for the matrix thermodynamic Green function in the Nambu representation for Hubbard operators is derived by applying the Mori-type projection technique for the equation of motion method. The self-energy is calculated in the noncrossing approximation for electron scattering on spin and charge ...
